Tom Kitching and Jeff Dennison

Tom (much younger than he looks in this photo) surprised and wowed us all with his talent on the fiddle.

Jeff didn't surprise us, because we all know how very good he is, but we revelled in every second of his performance.  How lucky we are to have such a brilliant professional entertain us for free!

What is more, Jeff had got up before 6 that morning to drive to a booking, fulfil it and drive back again.  Bearing in mind that he hosted a party on Coronation that Saturday night, he had a 23-hour day, and was still going strong.

Regrettably, I haven't got a photo of Jeff's Jackoodle, Josher, for whom I have developed a deep and abiding regard.

Prepare to shudder!

Omigawd!  So who pinched my camera and took that one, then?  Not fair - I wasn't sober at the time!
